Doctor Acquitted of Sexual Assault – BSQ Private Client Success

BSQ’s private crime department has secured an acquittal in a high profile prosecution of a doctor accused of sexual assault.

BSQ’s client L faced a crown court trial concerning allegations of a sexual assault. Following a week long trial L was unanimously acquitted by a jury. Notably the jury took less than an hour of deliberations to reach their decision.

L was represented by BSQ partner Roger Sahota. Roger has a specialist niche in representing professional clients including medical professionals facing charges of sexual misconduct and other criminal allegations. Earlier this year Roger represented a medical student cleared of a similar allegation and in previously Roger secured the acquittal of client B, a plastic surgeon following a trial on charges of serious criminal conduct in the Crown Court. Roger is currently advising a number of medical professionals in other cases in the pre-charge stage.
