BSQ News – Proceedings Against Medical Student Accused of Sexual Assault Discontinued

sexual assault defence solicitors

Another notable success for BSQ’s private client department after the CPS decided to discontinue criminal proceedings against BSQ private client V, a medical student accused of sexual assault. A conviction would have had devastating consequences for V’s career prospects. The case was before the Crown Court. V retains his good character.

V was represented by BSQ partner Roger Sahota. Roger has a specialist niche in representing professional clients including medical professionals facing charges of sexual misconduct and other criminal allegations. Roger secured the acquittal of client B, a plastic surgeon following a trial on charges serious criminal conduct in the Crown Court. Roger is currently advising a number of medical professionals in other cases in the pre-charge stage.
