BSQ instructed in USA Extradition Challenge

BSQ partner Roger Sahota has been instructed in another high-profile extradition case. The Government of the United States of America is seeking the extradition of a BSQ client alleged to be a key figure in a South American drug trafficking cartel. BSQ will be submitting independent expert evidence challenging the request which we are contesting citing, amongst other things, the incompatibility of life sentencing practices and prison conditions in the USA with international human rights standards. Proceedings are ongoing in the Westminster Magistrates Court.

BSQ has a niche specialisation in representing individuals who are sought for extradition outside the UK. Should you require any advice in relation to an extradition request please do not hesitate to contact our Mayfair offices.
