Police Station Interviews

BSB_JPerugia-2508.jpg
You are entitled to be represented at the police station if you are under arrest, free of charge. We are available 24 hours a day. 020 7837 3456

If you or a friend are under arrest we can represent you at the police station free of charge. You should not answer police questions without having a solicitor present.

*We regularly attend at police stations all across the London area and beyond and have a reputation for dedicated and quality representation at this most vital stage of the criminal justice process.

*We have a number of Accredited Police Station Representatives, Solicitors and Duty Solicitors all of whom have expertise in dealing with all types of allegations, including Andy Cornwell who has over 20 years experience in conducting interviews.

*We liaise with the police in advance of any interview to ensure you receive the best possible advice.

*The Right to Silence means you do not have to answer police questions. However, if you do not, but then put forward a positive defence to the allegations at any trial the court could hold your failure to answer questions in the interview against you. We can advise you whether or not this is likely to happen, and whether or not your explanation should be put forward at the time of your interview.

*We are also experienced in taking on cases where you or a friend or a family member may be on police bail, whilst the police conduct inquiries. We are able to take over your case at this stage and contact the police before you return on bail so that you can be better prepared for the possible outcomes, and by liasing with the police can help achieve the best results for you.
