Civil Liberties and Human Rights
We believe that the rights guaranteed to suspects, defendants, offenders and prisoners in our justice system (see Protect Your Rights) are fundamental human rights that protect us all from governmental abuse of power. We are committed to upholding these rights.
Our solicitors are experienced in challenging the decisions of Courts, Local Authorities and Public Bodies. We are currently involved in cases challenging the legality of decisions to prosecute parents under the Education Act for failing to ensure their children attend school and the scope of Anti- Social Behaviour Orders. For more information about our work in this area please contact James Skelsey.
Our consultant Richard Parry is an experienced Civil Liberties campaigner and legal representative for the London Defence Monitoring Group. Richard has represented many protestors arrested as a result of the May Day and other political demonstrations. He is an expert in defending cases related to the supply, possession and importation of drugs. Contact Richard.
We undertake all work regularly conducted in the criminal courts at all levels and our practice encompasses all aspects of dishonesty, violence, sexual offences and drugs offences. |
