Partner at North London practice, Hodge Jones & Allen, from 1987 to 2003 and latterly head of large criminal department specialising in general crime and fraud.

Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) sitting in Central London since 2003.

Notable Cases Include

Maguire and others (2001-3) acted for 2 Defendants in Real IRA mainland bombing campaign comprising BBC and Ealing explosions

Parsonage(2000) – Senior Treasury official charged with homicide of his wife : difficult mental health issues

Berry (1990) – Leading case dealing with jurisdictional issues between House of Lords and Court of Appeal
