Matt Elkins
Professional Experience
Matt joined BSB in 2006 as a trainee solicitor and is also a fully accredited police station representative.
Prior to Joining BSB, Matt was a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Geneva and also a visiting lecturer at the University of Plymouth in international law. He also worked as an intern at UNAIDS and the International Commission of Jurists in Geneva.
Matt is fluent in French and is therefore available to assist client's whose primary language is French. Matt also has a grounding in French Patois.
Matt has particular expertise in IT related matters, having a high level of understanding of web design and forensic computer matters. He uses cutting edge case management software in order to effectively and efficiently manage the most serious and complex cases.
Matt currently mainly deals with complex, high value, fraud and also civil restraint and confiscation proceedings stemming from these matters. In addition Matt deals with more general crime, including possession of drugs and theft and has recently assisted BSB Partner Paul Butcher, in advising other firms of solicitors on money laundering compliance.
